Pretrial Services Work Force Development Program

The primary mission of the Work Force Development Program is to inform unemployed and underemployed defendants of the available employment, vocational and educational resources in their communities to help assist them in making a positive difference in their lives while on pretrial supervision

The Office of Probation and Pretrial Services(OPPS), in recognition of the important role that meaningful employment plays in the successful reintegration of defendants and offenders into the community, announced an initiative to collaborate with other federal agencies on workforce development initiatives.
